Cape Valley Safaris, one of South Africa's premier hunting
outfitters, is owned and run by Adolf Kleinhans, a professional hunter, and is based between Hankey and
Patensie in the malaria-free Eastern Cape.
Adolf learned his trade from his father, the late J.P Kleinhans snr, one of the
best-known hunters in South Africa. From him he acquired his love for hunting and
his tremendous respect for nature which makes him the quality hunter he is.
There are many professional hunters and outfitters, as well as
game farms and lodges in South Africa. But nowhere will you find a team as
dedicated to your individual needs and expectations when you become our client. Please feel free to contact
one of the
references provided; they all started as
clients, became repeat customers and ended up as good friends.

We accommodate individual hunters or groups of
up to seven hunters and/or family members at a time. This ensures the requisite personal attention from our
team of professional hunters.
Cape Valley Safaris hunts in all of
South Africa's provinces as well as in neighbouring Namibia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Because we don't restrict
ourselves to a single hunting area we can offer our clients the opportunity to hunt more than 30 species in
diverse habitats like the Baviaanskloof or Karoo.
You can expect to take home some excellent trophies, wonderful memories and once in a
lifetime experiences after a safari with Adolf and his Cape Valley Safaris team.
Our
main lodge is an hour's drive from the city of Port Elizabeth.
Shopping trips to Port Elizabeth can be arranged. Shopping is very diverse from handmade African curios to
fine designer jewellery. (If you don't bring your wife with you, you can at least spoil her by taking back something nice.)
Other trips to, for example, Cape Town through the Garden Route all along the coast can be arranged after
you are done hunting to make a memorable holiday. If requested, we can even accompany you on your trip to
bring our local experience to bear in showing you the sights, such as Table Mountain and some of the most
distinguished and historic wine farms.
Clients usually arrive at Johannesburg or Cape Town airports where they are met and assisted through customs
by a representative of Cape Valley Safaris. From there, they transfer to the beautiful seaside city of
Port Elizabeth where they are met by Adolf in person and taken to Cape Valley Safaris' base.
